As one of the representatives of yellow tea, Huoshan Huangya grows in the depths of the Dabie Mountains with an average altitude of 400-800 meters. The soil here is coarse bony yellow-brown soil, the thickness of the soil layer is more than 70cm, the organic content is more than 2.0%, and the pH value is between 4.5 – 6.0, the strict geographical environment requirements have created the rare and unique yellow buds.

Baihao Yinzhen Tea
Baihao Yinzhen 白毫银针 is grown in Fujian which literally translated means“ White Hair Silver Needle”. It is called that because it has a straight appearance like a needle, covered with white hair, like silver and snow. It was first produced in the 1796s and is one of the top ten famous teas in China. This is the earliest black tea in the world and is also known as the originator of black tea. It has a history of more than 400 years.

Pre-Qingming Longjing
Pre-Qingming Longjing tea requires it to be produced from the first spring shoots prior to the Qingming Festival (Chinese farming calendar) on the 5th of April each year. There will usually be seasonal rain for a few days during the Qingming Festival.
Indeed, after the rain, the temperature heats up, which accelerates the growth of the tea plant. When the tea bud gets too big, it starts to lose complexity in the brewed flavor, therefore, Pre-Qingming tea is considered better.
