Mengding Huangya is one of the bud yellow teas. Picked in Mengding Mountain, Ya’an City, Sichuan Province. The cultivation of Mengding tea began in the Western Han Dynasty and has a history of 2,000 years. The tea is clear and bright yellow, with smooth yellow tea buds, with chestnut and caramel aromas.
The leaves of this tea are typically small and flat, with a yellow-green color. When brewed, the tea has a mild, slightly sweet flavor with a slightly grassy aroma.
