Dehua kiln white porcelain is the highest-grade white porcelain in China. It is not only different from the northern white kilns in the Tang and Song dynasties, but also different from Jingdezhen blue and white porcelain. Porcelain is white, but not pale, it is a very light beige color, the color of the porcelain is very warm, transparent, without flaws, as warm as jade, so it is called “suet jade”.

The porcelain clay used in the utensils is soft, with relatively low iron content and high potassium content.
